Harold Vernon Clark, 90, of Blue Springs, MO peacefully passed away Thursday, April 16th surrounded by his loving family. Harold was born November 16th, 1924 in Monte Bello, California and was raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was a World War II veteran who served in the US Air Force. Following his service in WWII, Harold settled in California where he met and married his wife of almost 66 years, Dixie Pyatt. Together they had 4 children. Harold worked at Mississippi Glass Company for over 30 years. He was an active and faithful member of the Church of Christ and served for many years as an elder. Harold is survived by his wife, Dixie Clark, of the home. He is also survived by four children: Terri Snelson (Dennis Snelson) of Blue Springs, Bruce Clark of Wendell, Idaho, Nancy Totten (Gale Totten) of Carefree, Arizona and Becky Black (Keith Black) of Dana Point, California, 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. service on Thursday, April 23, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
