Leona J. Clark 98, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday evening at the Independence Manor Care Center. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday with services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Speaks Suburban chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association. Leona was born May 25, 1908 in Independence, MO to Henry and Anna (Gausman) Linnenbringer. She was very much a family person and always enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren. Her hobbies included playing bingo, pinochle and crocheting. She always kept you laughing so there was never a dull moment when you were around her. She was preceded in death by three sisters, five brothers and her husband Thomas W. Clark; two sons, Richard E. Clark and Roy C. Clark. She is survived by her son, Arthur A. Clark and wife, Charlana of Independence, MO; a sister, Orpha Leigh Burch of Lee�s Summit, MO; a daughter, Dorothy M. Clark of Independence, MO; 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
