Wilbur E. “Butch” Clark, 71 of Kansas City, MO passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2011 at his residence. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the chapel. Donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association. Butch was born August 26, 1940 in Santa Barbara, CA to Wilbur Ballard and Margaret H. (Higson) Clark. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps for over 30 years from 1957 until 1977 mainly during Vietnam. He later worked at Longview Community College retiring 2000 as Automotive Lab Supervisor. He enjoyed making miniature models, gardening, traveling and camping. He was a member of the local VFW. He was married to Brenda Oram on February 19, 1959; she survives of the home. Other survivors include; 2 daughters, Earline Beebe and Heather Collins of Kansas City, MO; a son, David Clark of Kansas City, MO; a brother, Stephan Bansch of Sacramento, CA; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
