Don Lee Cline

Don L. Cline, 90, passed away on July 3, 2022, at home. He was born April 13, 1932 in Oklahoma.

Don attended High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1948-1955. He was married and had 3 children.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Dale Cline and other brother Mack Cline.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Peggy, of Independence, are his son, Dale Cline and his wife Nihal, of Virginia. His son, Kevin Cline and his finance TC Davis of Washington and daughter Karen Wagner and her husband Kurt Wagner of Oregon. Eight grandchildren, Didem, Kristy, Jocelyn, Vanessa, Tim, Katrina, Katie and Anndria. Eight great grandchildren, Jordyn, Cameron, Lale, Koray, Emma, Rose, Hunter and Logan.

Don worked many years at Nationwide Insurance and for the last half of his career he worked for Mid Continent Public Library.

Don leaves behind many friends and members of his community who will miss him dearly. Don was always ready to help others and be of service to anyone that needed help or assistance.

Don had many family pets and loved them All. His current pets were Sampson, Callie, Baby and Candy. He and his wife Peggy were active in many animal rescue societies. He was a hobbyist and loved to paint, read, needlework, basket weaving, bead work and many others. Don loved Jesus and was a church member and a faithful follower of our Lord and Savior.

A service of remembrance will be held graveside at 10:00am on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Mt. Washington Cemetery in Independence.
