Paul Ray Cline, 84, Independence, MO passed away Feb. 12, 2012. Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, Feb. 16 at the First Assembly of God, 3711 S. Whitney Ave., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will begin at noon before the service. Interment with Full Military Honors will be at Mt. Washington Cemetery.
Paul Ray was born Sept. 25, 1927 in Buffalo, MO and graduated from Buffalo High School. He is a U.S. Army veteran. He worked at Armco Steel plan to for over thirty years and retired in 1982. He was a very active member of the First Assembly of God. He taught Sunday school and was the Superintendent, a Royal Ranger Commander at Susquehanna Assembly of God and was a Gideon.
Paul Ray was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Elsie Cline, sisters Ruby Pitts, Nova Koons, Dorothy Cline, Edith Kellogg; brothers Riley Cline and David Cline. He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years Betty Cline, of the home; sister Naomi Pinkley, Lincoln, IL; brothers Kenneth Cline and wife Mary, Independence, MO; Donald Cline, Raytown, MO.
