Carol Clymer

Carol Ann Clymer, 66, Independence, MO died Jan. 25, 2008 at home. Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; cremation. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Carol was born Dec. 7, 1941, in Alton, IL. Her family later moved to Independence where she graduated from William Chrisman High School. Carol loved animals, especially her pets. She also loved Elvis Presley. She was very involved in her children and grandchildren’s lives.
Carol is survived by her husband of 38 years, Roger Clymer; her daughter and caregiver during her illness, Susan Clymer, both of the home; son Bill Clymer and wife Dawn, Independence, MO; son Steve Bailey, Las Vegas, NV; brother Robert L. Gotway, Independence, MO; grandchildren Logan Wineinger, Zachary Wineinger, Emma Clymer, Madeline Clymer and Helayna Clymer.
