Jewell L. Coatney

Jewell L. Coatney, 84, Grain Valley, Mo. died June 5, 2004 at St. Mary�s Hospital of Blue Springs. Services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Brooking Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm, Monday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society. Jewell was born Jan. 23, 1920. She enjoyed quilting, canning and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Evelyn Pierson and a grandson, Kenny Perry. She is survived by her husband, Jim Coatney; daughter, Shirley Perry; and son, James Coatney, all of Grain Valley, MO; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
