Thomas H. Cockrill

Thomas H. Cockrill, 90, of Warrensburg, MO passed away May 22, 2015 at the Missouri State Veterans Home in Warrensburg. A visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. A graveside inurnment service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Thomas was born April 19, 1925 in Platte County, MO. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army serving with distinction during WWII. In 1987, Thomas retired from BMA insurance, where he had worked for 36 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnne Cockrill; and brother Robert Cockrill. Thomas is survived by his daughter, Leonna Cockrill; one sister, Ida Yuille; numerous nieces and nephews; and his granddogs, Lucy and Gracie.
