Leroy Coe

LeRoy Coe, 80, of Independence, MO passed away March 15, 2008 at his home. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, at Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville, MO. LeRoy was born on March 12, 1928 in Niles, MI to Cecil and Helen Coe. He served in the United States Air Force, retiring as Senior Master Sergeant. After his retirement, LeRoy worked for 12 years with Lockheed Martin and McDonnell Douglas training the Saudi Arabian Air Force on radar and avionics. LeRoy was devoted to flowers, sports, computers, and most of all his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and two sisters. LeRoy is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marilyn Coe; four daughters, Marilyn Martel, Diane Smith, Barbara Shivers and Gayle Lafavor; one son, Gene Coe; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one brother; and four sisters.
