Janet Angelene Coel, 84, of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, November 16, 2006 at the Medical Center of Independence. Angelene was born April 20, 1922 in Laredo, MO to Claude and Dixie D. (Johnson) Cox. She was a graduate of Laredo High School in 1940. Mrs. Coel was an Accountant with Montgomery Ward & Co. She married Gerald Halsey Coel on October 21, 1961 in St. Andrew�s Episcopal Church in Kansas City, MO. Mrs. Coel is survived by her sister Pat Woods and husband Payton of Warrensburg, MO, brother Ronnie Peterie of Trenton, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
