Beverly Cole

Beverly Cole, age 69, of Independence, died Tuesday of complications after her 15-month battle with Lung Cancer.
She was born to the late Horace and Florence (York) Miller on December 19, 1940 in Independence, MO. Beverly graduated from Van Horn High School in 1958. She was happily married to David Lance Cole since 1981. She was a receptionist for Systematic Business Services, Intellisys and Quest Diagnostics for twenty years.
Beverly was the mother of three children: Juli Ann, David Lloyd, and Heather Christine. She was also the proud Mam Maw to 8 grandchildren: Christian, Robbie, Aaron, Eric, Gabrielle, Bradley, Xander, and Lonzo.
Services will be 10 am, Monday, Aug. 2, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 – 8 pm Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Free To Breathe, an organization of the National Lung Cancer Partnership.
