Douglas Lee "Doug" Cole

Douglas L. Cole, 56, Raytown, MO passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015. Graveside services will be 2 pm, Monday, Dec. 21 at Blue Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Friday, Dec. 18 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Doug was born the son of David L. and Isabel (Bailey) Cole on Sunday, Dec. 13, 1959 in Norfolk, VA. He is a U.S. Navy veteran. He served on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) based at Norfolk, VA from 1981-1984. Doug was an avid golfer and bowler. He is survived by his mother Isabel Cole of Raytown, MO: sister Pamela S. Cole of Tucker, GA; daughters Amber Cole (Al Bisig) and Lauren Cole of Raytown, MO; companion Mary Firuccia of Raytown, MO along with many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father on Nov. 20, 2015.
