Ruby Pearl Coleman

Ruby Pearl Coleman, 80, of Independence, MO, died, Saturday, February 21, 2004 at the Rosewood Health Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m., until service time on Wednesday morning at the chapel. Ruby was born March 31, 1923 in Independence, MO to Clarence and Alma (Smith) Martin. She was a lifelong Independence resident having worked for a number of years for Guy�s Potato Chip Factory until she retired. She was a member of Walnut Gardens Community of Christ Church. She was married to Milton E. Coleman; he preceded her in death in 2001. Survivors include; a son Bill Ross of Edwards, MO; 2 step sons, Jerry Coleman of Tonganoxie, KS and Danny Coleman of Independence, MO; s step daughter, Tammy Coleman of Independence, MO; a sister, Alpha Sherman of Independence, MO; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
