Agnes Boslem Collins

Agnes "Nessie� B. Collins, 78, Independence, MO passed away Sept. 12, 2006. Services will be 2 pm, Friday, Sept. 15, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
Nessie was born Sept. 16, 1927 in Glasgow, Scotland and came to the U.S. and Kansas City area in 1947. She worked at the Lake City Plant for 29 years and retired as an inspector. Family was everything to Nessie and she was a constant source of encouragement to them.
Nessie is survived by her husband of 58 years Andy Collins, of the home; son Bob Collins and wife Darlene, Wichita, KS; daughters Kathrine Lamison and husband Chuck, Turney, MO; Jo Fenstermaker and husband Frank, Grain Valley, MO; grandchildren Shawn Collins and wife Michele, Colwich, KS; Drew Lamison and wife Dina, Cameron, MO; Sherri Newson and husband Rod, Golden, CO; Brian Fenstermaker and wife Tracy; Jason Fenstermaker and wife Amber, all of Grain Valley, MO; brothers John Green; Stewart Green, both of Glasgow, Scotland; great-grandchildren Skylar, Mackenzie, Justin, Kayne, Jazzmin, Kalise, Kimberly and Bradley.
