Darrell Clifton Collins, 27, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, November 1, 2008. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in the chapel. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Darrell was born November 16, 1980 in Kansas City, MO. He is survived by his sister Heather Gumm and husband Robert; niece Deanna, nephew Robert Scott; step-brother Charlie Pennington; step-sister Nicole Pennington; special cousins Christian Volk, Danny Volk and family; grandmother Martha Pennington; grandfather Hal Pennington and family; special aunt and uncle Richard and Sue Volk; uncles Bryan Zimmerman and aunt Trish; Bruce Zimmerman; aunt Teresa Faulkner and uncle Pete; aunt Robin Sirna and family; cousins Anna, Lexi, Michelle, Lisa and Petie; and girlfriend Brittany Schmidt. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents Paul “Stace” Pennington and Deanna Pennington. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
