Joyce M. Colville (Mattingly)

Joyce M. Colville, 87, passed away at home on Sunday, April 12, 2015. Visitation will be Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service following at 2:00 p.m. at South Crysler Restoration Branch, 16101 Salisbury Rd., Independence, MO. Donations may be made in her name to the South Crysler Restoration Branch. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Robert; sons Craig and Mark and his wife Zalfen and grandson Paul all of Independence, Missouri; a brother-in-law Roger Willis, niece Carolyn McCrory and great nieces and nephews of Pensacola, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert "Rob" and Ethel Fanny Mattingly, sisters Dessie Bryant and Winifred Stevens and brother-in-law Ralph Bryant .Joyce was born in Robertsdale, Alabama, moving to Pensacola, Florida when she was six years old. She attended Graceland College in Lamoni, Iowa where she met her husband, Robert. She also lived in Stockton and Modesto, California before moving to Independence in 1983. She was a lifelong member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints attending South Crysler Restoration Branch. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
