Bernadine Conine

Bernadine Mary (White) Conine, 91, of Blue Springs, MO peacefully passed away Friday, July 18, 2008 at Shangri La Care Center. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Crossroads Hospice. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Bernadine was born August 6, 1916 in Kansas City, MO to John and Myrtle (McClure) O’Rourke. She retired from the City of Independence in 1978. Mrs. Conine is survived by her daughter Patricia Hardwick, son Richard White and wife Beverly; grandchildren Robert Andrew, Tricia Stack, Christy Barber, John Hardwick, Jason Proffitt, and Sally Brown; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Bernadine was preceded in death by her first husband Charles White in ’66 and second husband Jack Conine in ’83; and by her two brothers and one sister.
