Ammon C. Conoley, 85, Buckner, MO passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010 at his home.
A Celebration of Ammon’s Life will be at 2:00 Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Foundation.
Ammon was born November 24, 1924 in Independence, MO the son of Robert C. and Pearl (McCumber) Conoley. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. Ammon retired from Ford Motor Company, Claycomo Plant in 1989 as a pipe fitter. He was a member of the UAW Local Union 249.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Daryl in 2000; an infant son, Ronald Eric; brothers, James and Robert Conoley and his parents.
Survivors include his daughters, Gayla Selsor; Penny Keesee and her husband John; five grandchildren; one great grandson; sister, Doris Lyness and brother, Clarence Conoley.
