Gloria Conway

Gloria J. (Loomis) Conway, 79 of Independence, MO passed away, Saturday, January 26, 2013, at her daughter’s home in Independence, MO. Cremation is planned with a celebration of her life to be held at a later date in Wisconsin. Gloria was born January 29, 1933 in Eau Claire, WI to Paul William and Ethel Irene (Stankey) Loomis and grew up in Wisconsin and graduated from public schools there. She was a beloved mother and homemaker who had also worked as a store manager for Woman’s World clothing store in Overland Park, KS for a number of years. She enjoyed animals and was active in animal rescue organizations. She is survived by; her children, Richard Conway and his wife Elaine of Lee’s Summit, MO and Barbara Gnazzo and Michelle Conway both of Independence, MO; a brother, David Loomis of La Crosse, WI; 4 grandchildren, Jason Conway, David Conway, Amy Coney and Matthew Gnazzo and 4 great grandchildren, Amanda Coney, Robert Wharton, Malia Marek and Killian Conway. She was preceded in death by a son, David Conway in 1989.
