Billie Jefferson Cooper, 84, Independence, MO passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2012 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO. 64052. Burial to follow at Mound Grove Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Billie was born August 13, 1927 in Kansas City, Mo the son of Francis M. and Beulah M. (Clark) Cooper. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Billie retired from Vendo Company in the late ‘80’s. He enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, BBQ cooking.
Billie was preceded in death by his wife Josephine Cooper in 2011; sister, Katherine “Corky” O’Hare; and his parents.
Survivors include his son, Jeff Cooper; daughter, Nancy Cooper; sister in law, Patricia Gavin and his faithful companion, Scooter.
