Rose M. Cooper

Rose M. (Vento) Cooper of Independence, MO, passed away September 27, 2022. She was born August 26, 1925. Visitation will be held from 10-11am followed by service at 11am on Monday, October 3rd, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 10113 E. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO, 64053, with burial at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Pete Cooper; parents; and her siblings, Jasper Vento, Charlie Vento, Joe Vento, John Vento, Jennie Vento, Sam Vento, Lena McDonald, Ben Vento, Katie Fewins, and Grace Vento.

Rose is survived by nieces and nephews, Carmella (Charlie) DeMartino, Dee (Vic) Tamburello, Joe (Betty) Vento, Marie (Bob) Chabot, John Vento, Ben Vento, Charlie Vento, Kathy Vento, Sammy Joe Vento, Barbara Blevins, Mary Jo (Barry) Price, John Vento, Larry McDonald, Neva (Tony) Mistretta.

Rose was a lithographic photographer for the General Services Administration print plant and later became its Plant Manager.
