Jared Cornett

Jared Cornett, 34, of Sugar Creek, MO passed away Monday, March 21, 2016. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 from 5-8:00 pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO, 64055. A service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 10:00 am at the chapel. Jared was born on February 11, 1982 in Independence, MO to Russell Cornett and Tammy Roper. He worked as an Electrician for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway for the last 10 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed, hunting, fishing, but most loved being with his wife and children. Jared will be remembered by his loving wife, Jennifer, of the home; his children Alexis Cornett, Nathan Cornett, Zachary Schreier, and Madison Schreier all of the home; father Russell Cornett of Independence, MO; mother Tammy Roper of Lees Summit, MO; sister Katrina Phillips and husband Timothy of Troy, AL; brother Corey Cornett of Lees Summit, MO; maternal grandparents Bobby Roper and wife Rosalene of Viola, AR; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.
