Angelo (Andy) Costanza, Jr. 73 of Buckner passed away Sat. April 26, 2008, after a short illness. He was surrounded by family and friends. Services will be 11:00 am, Wed. Apr. 30, 2008 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 603 N. Jennings, Indep. MO 64056. Burial in Glenridge Cemetery, Liberty, MO. Visitation will be from 6 �" 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Indep. MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church or the Kansas City Ronald McDonald House. Andy was born on Jan. 5, 1935 in Kansas City, MO to Josephine (Tulipano) and Angelo Costanza, Sr. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. On Aug. 30, 1958, Andy married Flora Tapp. The marriage blessed them with three children; Mark Alan, Lisa Anne, and Christopher Angelo. Angelo was a long time member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church of Independence and was known to the children as “Candy Andy”. He was a faithful member of the “Tuesday and Friday McDonald’s Men’s coffee Club”. He was preceded in death by his father and a younger brother. He is survived by his wife, Flora; children Mark, Lisa and Chris. Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Three brothers and their wives, Joe and Vivian Costanza, Fred and Phyllis Costanza and Leo and Sherry Costanza and by his mother, Josephine.
