Thelma Cox

Thelma Cox, 101 of Independence, MO passed away on October 27, 2007 at The Groves. She was a member of the RLDS, Community of Christ Church. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband Earl; one daughter, Marjorie; and two sons, Dave and Ralph. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Vickie; daughter-in-law, Martha; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at Mound Grove Cemetery on North River in Independence. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Groves Community Hospice.
