Naomi Ruth Craig (Mcbride)

Naomi R. Craig, 93, Independence, MO, formerly of Sibley, MO passed away July 21, 2014. Visitation will be 11:30 am – 12:30 pm Sat., July 26 at Speaks Buckner chapel, 300 Adams, Buckner, MO 64016. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family requests contributions to Crossroads Hospice, 9237 Ward Pkwy., Kansas City, MO 64114. Naomi was born Nov. 16, 1920 in Centralia, MO. She moved to the area in 1956. She enjoyed quilt making and reading. Naomi was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Craig; son Charles Craig and sister Lottie Hale. She is survived by sons Calvin Craig and wife Judy, Independence, MO; Kenneth Craig and wife Virginia; daughter-in-law Mary Craig, all of San Antonio, TX; nine grandchildren; several great and great-great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at Crossroads Hospice for their loving care and support.
