Charles Cramer

Charles “Dennis” Cramer, 58, of Independence, MO, passed away, Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Private family services and interment will be held at Mound Grove Cemetery. The family will greet friends 6 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Dennis was born January 26, 1952 in Independence, MO to Charles E. and Evelyn (Dillon) Cramer. He has been a lifelong area resident graduating from Truman High School in 1970, earning his Bachelor’s in Education in 1974 from CMSU and later his master’s degree in education. He worked for Glendale Elementary School for 30 years before he retired in 2005. He later worked as assistant Theatre manager for the Pharaoh Cinema Theatre in Independence. He enjoyed drumming and was a former member of the NEA. He was a member of the Walnut Gardens Community of Christ. He was married to Janice (Myers), she survives of the home; other survivors include a daughter, Rachel Cramer of the home.
