Evelyn Maxine Curtner, 81, Blue Springs, MO passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 after a nine year battle with cancer.
Evelyn was born December 13, 1932 in Oak Grove, MO the daughter of Theodore and Ruby (Roemmich) Rustman. Evelyn sold real estate for a short time with Hamilton Real estate in Buckner. She was known for her wonderful cooking, and her style of playing cards. Most of all Evelyn loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Delbert Rustman and her parents.
Survivors include her loving husband, Leonard Curtner of 64 years; daughters, Kathy Urschel and husband Richard, Kim Demel and husband Kelly; grandchildren, Michael Urschel, Kelsey and Kolin Demel; sister, Carol Wingate; and additional nieces, nephews and family. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Napoleon United Methodist Church; 385 W. Church St., Napoleon, MO 64074. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Buckner Hill Cemetery.
