Cynthia "Cindy" Williams, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on July 27, 2026. She graced this world with her presence for 70 remarkable years.

Cindy was born on March 30, 1956. She graduated from William Chrisman High School with the Class of 1974. While still in high school, Cindy met the love of her life, Michael, at a party. They hit it off immediately, and their connection quickly blossomed into a lifelong partnership. On June 22, 1974, they were married, embarking on a marriage filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.

Cindy found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending warm summer days swimming in the backyard pool, where family and friends gathered to relax, laugh, and make memories together. She especially treasured hosting her girlfriends, creating a welcoming place where everyone felt at home. Of all the roles she held in life, being a grandmother brought Cindy the greatest happiness. She adored her grandchildren and cherished every opportunity to spend time with them. Her love, warmth, and gentle spirit will remain with them always.

Cindy’s passing is preceded by her parents, Carl and Reva Prinz, and her son, Andrew Williams. Her legacy of love lives on though her husband of 52 years, Michael Williams; her daughter, Rosemary Weik (Charles); her grandchildren, Josephine Shaw, Max Shaw, Corwin Weik, and Tristan Weik; her sisters, Shellie Speer and Vickie Barclay; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
