Dale V. McClintock, Jr., 67 of Blue Springs, MO passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at his residence following a long battle with Early Onset Alzheimer’s. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2026, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel with cremation to follow. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Monday at the chapel. Donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer’s Research Foundation. Dale was born February 14, 1959, in Kansas City, MO to Dale V. and Alice (Bates) McClintock, Sr. and has been a lifelong area resident. He grew up in Pleasant Hill, MO graduating from Pleasant Hill High School in 1977. He worked for 30 years for the local gas company, currently known as Spire, as a leak surveyor prior to his retirement in 2019. Growing up, he enjoyed sports with baseball being his favorite. In high school he played football, basketball, and golf as well as participated in track. Later in life, when his kids were young, he coached their various sports teams. He also enjoyed playing golf, collecting baseball and football trading cards and was an outdoorsman who enjoyed working in the yard, going on long walks and visiting the zoo, often with his family. He had a great sense of humor, a kind heart, and loved watching the Chiefs, Royals, and Mizzou sports teams. He was also a member of the Community of Christ Church. He was married to Debra “Debi” (Williams) on August 5, 1983, she survives of the home. Other survivors include; a daughter, Shayna McClintock Mansell and husband Gary of Blue Springs, MO; a son, Jason McClintock and wife Kay of Blue Springs, MO; his mother, Alice Welchert of Lee’s Summit, MO; 3 sisters, Cheryl Parris of Raymore, MO, Cathy McClintock of Lee’s Summit, MO and Carrie Barker of Gravois Mills, MO and 9 grandchildren, Chase, Kayla, Lyon, Arya, Austin, Orion, Harrison, Abby, and Emma.
