Dale George Richardson, 66, of Independence, Missouri, passed away much too soon on June 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on December 7, 1959, in Fullerton, California, son to George and Jacqueline Richardson. Dale lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and a passion for the simple joys that brought people together. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, carrying the values of service, dedication, and integrity throughout his life.
Following his military service, Dale built a successful career as a Master Plumber within the residential and commercial plumbing industry. He was respected by colleagues and employees alike for his leadership, strong work ethic, and willingness to lend a helping hand.
Above all else, Dale cherished his family. His greatest joy was being a father and grandfather, and he treasured every moment spent with his children and grandchildren. Whether sharing stories, offering advice, or simply enjoying time together, he created memories that will be cherished forever.
Dale had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found fishing, hunting, or enjoying the excitement of the rodeo. One of his favorite places was his lake house, where he could relax, recharge, and spend quality time with those he loved most. He was also a lifelong fan of rock and roll music and had an uncanny knack for winning concert tickets from radio contests, leading to many unforgettable nights enjoying live music.
Those who knew Dale will remember his quick smile, his sense of humor, his generous heart, and the unwavering love he had for his family. He lived fully, loved deeply, and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Dale's legacy lives on through his family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by his kindness, wisdom, and love. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to bring comfort, laughter, and inspiration to those who loved him.
Dale is survived by his children, Eddie Richardson, Jeff Richardson, Ashley (Jimmy) Wallace; grandchildren, Allie Richardson, Miranda Richardson, Jadon Richardson, Aydon Richardson, Jordan Wallace, Ashlynn Wallace; first wife and life long friend, Mary Richardson; sisters, Teresa Greeley, Sheryl Burris; many extended family and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Jacqueline Richardson.
Services will take place at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, Missouri 64055. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30th 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 1st at 10:00 am. Dale will be laid to rest following the Funeral Services at Buckner Hill Cemetery in Buckner, Missouri.
