Mary Danielson

Mary Ellen Danielson, 84, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on July 21, 2014. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm on Monday, July 28, at Speaks Suburban Chapel. The Memorial Service will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 29, at the Chapel. Mary was born on April 6, 1930 to Julius and Minnie (Purdy) Miller in St. Louis, MO. Mary was an avid softball, basketball player, and marathon runner. Her greatest passion was collecting, and refinishing antiques. She was well known for her primitive collection. Mary was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and was a Nurse in the area for many years. Most of those years were spent with Dr. Cockrell in Independence. Mary was a member of St. Paul’s and Messiah Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
