Darryl Alan Risinger

Darryl was a life-long resident of Independence, MO. He was a 1983 graduate of Truman High School and later attended DeVry University. He also studied classical guitar and won many awards, which sparked his life-long love of music. Darryl was kind-hearted and loved his family.  

Darryl leaves behind two sons, James and Matthew; mother, Mary E. Esteb and husband Terry; father, Jerry Risinger and wife Nancy; sister, Carmen Wilson and husband Sam; nephews, Alex and Thomas; and many cousins.  

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the North Mound Grove Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army, A.R.C., Major Kelly J. Collins, 3637 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64111-2503, in memory of Darryl A. Risinger.
