Harry L. Davidson, 75, of Oak Grove, MO died August 3, 2011. Harry was born in Kansas City, MO, and was raised in Cross Timbers, MO by his loving grandparents. He entered the Navy at 17 and retired from the service after 20 years. Harry was employed by Houlihan’s Restaurant Groups, retiring in 2005 after a stroke. He was a skilled mechanic and could repair almost anything. He loved his cat Badger. He also loved working on various projects with his only son Larry. He enjoyed the outdoors. Harry was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Fleet Reserve Association and Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his wife, Rhea (Blattman) Davidson; one son, Larry Davidson; seven daughters, Kathy Marquez, Connie Boyles, Debbie Smith, Gail Jagger, Twila Holmes, Brenda Ross and Susan Gardner; five step-grandchildren, David Griffin, Mark Griffin, Scott Griffin, Dianne Griffin and Laury Migchelbrink; thirty grandchildren; and thirty five great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. with a 10:00 a.m. service to follow on Tuesday, August 9, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. A committal service will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.
