Willodean Davidson, 87, Buckner, MO passed away May 17, 2015 in Independence, MO. Services will be 10 am, Friday, May 22 at Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams, Buckner, MO 64016. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Oak Grove Nursing & Rehab Activities Fund, 2108 S.W. Mitchell St., Oak Grove, MO 64075. Willodean was born March 5, 1928 in Custer City, OK to Lorene (Dotson) and Curt W. Pollett. She graduated from Thomas (OK) High School where she was a drum majorette and a state champion vocalist. Early in her career she sold Stanley Home Products before beginning a twenty-five year career as a tool & die inspector at the Lake City Ammunitions plant. Following her retirement she worked part-time at Tandem Truck Sales for ten years. Willodean was preceded in death by her husband of twenty years, Lester Davidson. She will be lovingly remembered by two sons: Michael Johnson and wife Barbara; and Curtis Johnson; four grandchildren: Ryan Johnson and wife Andrea; Kelli Quiring and husband Austin; Melanie Johnson and Blaire Johnson; four great-grandchildren: Ellie and Grant Johnson; Lilly and Hudson Quiring and brother Chuck Pollett. Willodean was a strong-willed, hard-working woman who loved life, animals, jewelry and most of all her family.
