Pearl Davies, 95, Independence, MO passed away Friday, November 4, 2011.
A memorial visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO 64055.
Pearl was born October 28, 1916 in Imperial, NE the daughter of Charles Edward and Mary Eunice (Speer) Travis. She attended Graceland College and graduated from Independence Sanitarium School of Nursing. Pearl worked as a school nurse for the Independence School District from 1967 to 1974. She was a member of the South Crysler Restoration Branch. She enjoyed sewing, toll painting and being with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Davies; daughter, Nan Kathleen Davies; eight brothers; three sisters.
Survivors include her sons, John Travis Davies and wife Betty; Cris Davies and wife Kathy; daughter, Linda Miller and husband Dale; grandchildren, Sandra Davies, Travis Davies, Bret Curtis, Chad Curtis, Nanette Curtis-Walton, Melissa Mizell, Adam Davies and Justin Davies and six great grandchildren; Doris Caster, cousin and special long-time friend.
