Casey Lee Davis, 25, of Independence, MO passed away, Sunday, March 29, 2015. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Sycamore Hills Baptist Church, 15200 E. 39th St. South, Independence, MO 64055. The family will be receiving friends from 5 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, Beta Iota Chapter or to Sycamore Hills Baptist Church. Graveside interment services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Knox City Cemetery in Knox City, MO. Casey was born January 26, 1990 in Blue Springs, MO to Steve and Janie Davis and graduated from Blue Springs High School in 2008 and later from Truman State in 2012 with a bachelors in Ag Business and was active in the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, Beta Iota Chapter. He worked for IATSE Local #31 stagehands, the family owned Kettle Corn business, Action Mailing and was a part-time farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, playing guitar and was known for his sense of humor. He was a member of Sycamore Hills Baptist Church. Survivors include; his parents, Steve and Janie Davis of the home; a sister, Stephanie Bolton and husband Jason and their children, Joel Bolton, Molly Bolton, Quincy Bolton and Amelia Bolton; grandparents, Charles and Paula Rouner of Webb City, MO and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Virgil and Norma Jo Davis of Knox City, MO.
