Cecelia Davis

Cecelia “Ce-Ce” Davis, 85, of Independence MO passed away Monday, October 7th 2013. A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
Cecelia was born March 7th 1928 in Jamesport, MO to Lois Franklin and Beulah Edith (Bennett) Davis as their only child. She attended Faxson Elementary and Paseo High School, as well as Kansas City Junior College. She also attended the Kansas City Art Institute and the K.C. Conservatory of Music where she learned to appreciate the arts. Cecelia had an adventurous life residing in many states including Missouri California, and Colorado. She worked mostly as a Cartographer but also sang in nightclubs, and her favorite job was as a Secretary for the Center School District. She loved artwork, singing, animals, oriental and also southwestern themes and décor. Ce-ce will be remembered as a loyal and beloved friend.
