Dorothy “Dot” Davis, 83, of Kansas City, MO passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at her home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2011 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2011 in the chapel. Burial in Brooking Cemetery. Dot was born July 22, 1928 in Taberville, MO to Harry and Elsie (Kuenkler) Greer. She is survived by her son Richard L. Davis and wife Susan; daughter Susan Lawson and husband Bobby; grandchildren Lee A. Davis, Nicolle Gaines, Kandis Detrich, Jacquelin O’Callaghan; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband Everett Davis in ’92.
