Lottie Jule Davis (Sportsman)

Lottie Jule Davis, 89, of Independence, MO passed away December 20, 2021 at Lee’s Summit Medical Center after a brief illness. Lottie was born in Kansas City, MO on April 9, 1932 to Samuel and Margaret (Ishmael) Sportsman but was raised by her step mother Zinnia after her mother passed during childbirth. She enjoyed dancing and shopping, but more than anything she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lottie was a giver and loved to take care of her family any way she could.

Lottie was preceded in death by her husband Harry W. Davis in 2014 and daughter Janie Mae Bettinger in 2016. Those left behind to cherish her memory include her son, Michael Davis Sr. (Aimee); grandchildren: Rachel Dawn Glisson (Stacy), Michael Davis Jr. (Sonja), Micah Davis and Anna; great-grandchildren: Colin, Michael (Kira), Harley, Casey, River, Sedona, Justice, Noble, Levy, Alex, Brandon, Chris and Travis; and great-great-granddaughter Anastasia.
