Ruby Davis

Ruby Jewel Davis, 84, Yellville, AR formerly of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Biermann Ozarks Hospice House, Mountain Home, AR. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Lee Mountain Cemetery, Yellville, AR. Ruby was born October 22, 1926 in Lead Hill, AR the daughter of Samuel and Sarah Ann (Smothers) Ford. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being a seamstress and making clothing for her nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Norfleet Church. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, George in 2008 and her parents. Survivors include her sister, Edith Johnson of Summit, AR and numerous nieces, nephews and family.
