Marilyn Earickson Day

Marilyn Earickson Day, 89, formerly of Independence and Blue Springs, MO passed away December 18, 2015. A rosary will be held at 5:30 p.m. followed by a visitation from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Marilyn was born June 16, 1926 in Glasgow, MO to James and Carol (Mullins) Earickson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 63 years, Leo H. Day; and son-in-law, Larry James. She is survived by her six daughters, Mary Kathleen James, Theresa Ann Tait, Mary Lyn Jones and husband Richard, Constance Jo Saenz and husband Mario, Christa Lee Dean, Patricia Eileen Rammelsburg and husband Eric; ten grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
