Deborah "Debbie" Kay Busby

Deborah “Debbie” Kay Busby, 69 of Independence, MO passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 at her residence. Cremation is planned with a celebration of her life to be held at 5:00 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2024 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m., until service time Monday at the chapel, Debbie was born September 21, 1955 in Kansas City, MO to Carl Lott and Beverly Jean (Porterfield) Abbott and has been a lifelong area resident. She had worked as a hazmat coordinator for UPS for several years. She is survived by; Her husband, Jack Busby of the home; one sister Patti VanMaele; and many nieces and nephews.
