Cherry Lynn (Parsons) Decker, 43, Grain Valley, MO passed away unexpectedly Aug. 3, 2011. Memorial services will be held at 3 pm, Sat., Aug. 13 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 901 N.W. 15th Street, Blue Springs, MO 64015. In lieu of flowers, the family requests check be made to Watchtower and sent to: Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc, Attn: Treasurers’ Office, 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn NY 11201-2483.
Cherry was born Aug. 14, 1967 and baptized March 21, 1981. She graduated from Blue Springs High School in the Class of 1985 and married Shane Decker on June 29, 1985. She worked at U.S. Bank.
Cherry is survived by her husband Shane Decker, of the home; parents Sylvia and Roger Parsons, Blue Springs, MO; sisters Stacia Parsons, Ottawa, KS; Sara Hill and husband Copi, Wellsville, KS; aunts Shirley Parsons, Marshall, MO; Willa Murphy and husband Bill, Independence, MO; uncle Jim Armstrong and wife Connie, Lenexa, KS and nephew Kobe Hill.
