Flora G. Dehoney

Flora G. Dehoney, 81, of Independence, MO, passed away Friday, November 17, 2006 at Bishop Spencer Place. Visitation will be 10-12:00, Monday, November 20, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Private burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude�s Children�s Hospital or to St. Luke�s Hospital Foundation. Flora was born March 19, 1925 in Milwaukee, WI to Peter and Nora (Cates) Sharp. She loved to sew, making dolls and doll dresses and then giving them away. Mrs. Dehoney was a devoted employee of Mobil Oil Co., retiring after 30 years. Later in life, Flora volunteered with her husband at St. Luke�s Hospital helping others. She is survived by her daughter Patty Haller; sister Betty Harrison; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Flora was preceded in death by her beloved prince, Bill Dehoney in 1988 and her son-in-law Steve Haller in 2000.
