Dennis Paul Rupp

Dennis Paul Rupp, 71, unexpectedly passed away and arrived at his heavenly home on June 25, 2024. His dedication to his family and strong faith in Christ brought him peace. Dennis was born to the late Sylvester and Esther (Connors) Rupp in St. Louis, Missouri on August 23, 1952. During his childhood, Dennis spent many days on the golf course with his twin brother Kenny and their father. This sparked a deep love for the game, leading him to play on the Pro Golf tour as a young adult. He graduated from Parkway Central in Chesterfield, Missouri in 1970.

On April 24, 2000, in Galveston, TX, Dennis married his best friend, Ronda Dee Querry. Blessed with a large and loving family, he raised his children with patience and humility, always treasuring every moment he shared with them.

A motivational mentor at heart, Dennis loved to tell jokes and always shared wisdom from the Bible in his conversations. Proverbs was his favorite book, evident from its worn pages. He enjoyed making others laugh. His knowledge of useless facts was vast and he checked Antarctica’s weather daily.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Ronda; his children Tyler (Bethany) Rupp, Shannon (Jess) Bonneau, Marissa (Matt) Goin; grandchildren Levi and Brady, Lucy and Lana, Addyson, Mattinglee, Auleo, and Sophia. Dennis is also survived by his twin brother Kenny (Paula) Rupp; his sisters Nancy (Rick) Kemlage and Linda Denny; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a son, Robert Bailey; his parents Syl and Esther, and a brother-in-law Jim Denny.

Funeral Services will be held at Speaks Suburban Chapel - 18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055 on Saturday, July 6, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, and the Funeral Service will commence at 11:00 am, immediately followed by a graveside service at Buckner Hill Cemetery - 1450 S Buckner Tarsney Rd, Buckner, MO 64016.
