Frank Walter DiiBon, Jr., 63, Sugar Creek, MO passed away Friday, September 16, 2011 after a three year battle with lung cancer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2011 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church; 10113 E. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Frank was born November 18, 1948 in Kansas City, MO the son of Frank Walter, Sr. and Dorothy Genevieve (Humbird) DiiBon. He was a heavy equipment operator with Hoisting Operating Engineer Union, Local 101. Frank was a member of St. Ann’s Church. He enjoyed playing his guitar, woodworking, making people laugh with his jokes and small pranks, he especially loved being with his grandchildren, great grandchildren and family. Frank was preceded in death by his brother and his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife Nancy K. DiiBon of 43 years; daughters, Judy Bell and husband Claude, Sr; Kimberly DiiBon and companion Brian DePriest, Sr.; son, Kevin DiiBon; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; five sisters and numerous nieces, nephews and family.
