Lois Dillon

Lois E. Dillon, 86, of Independence, MO passed away May 21, 2011 at her home. Lois was born November 21, 1924 in Independence, MO to John and Madeleine (Crick) Feldhahn. She graduated from Graceland College in Lamoni, IA and UMKC. Lois retired as an elementary teacher from the Independence School District. She attended Kansas City Meditation Group of Self Realization Fellowship. Her two greatest passions were flower gardening and her family. Lois is survived by two sons, Gary Dillon, Randy and wife Toni Dillon; and her two grandchildren, Connor and Sydney Dillon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, William Maxwell Dillon; sister, Gay Bumgarner; and brother, Tom Feldhahn. A memorial visitation reception will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at The Rhapsody, 2322 East R.D. Mize Road, Independence, MO.
