Dorothy M. Dix

Dorothy M. Dix, 83 of Kansas City, MO passed away, Tue, Apr. 12, 2005 at the Independence Health Care Center. Services will be 2:00 pm, Thu, Apr 14, 2005 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial in Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to Noland Road Baptist Church. Dorothy was born on Jan 29, 1922 to Charles and Lucy (Ballew) Dix in Big Cabin, OK. She had been employed with the Social Security Administration for over 30 years, retiring in 1977. She was a loving and caring person who enjoyed Cooking, Sewing and doing Yard Work. She had been a member of the Noland Road Baptist Church for many years. Dorothy is survived by her sister, Neomah Goodrich of Kansas City, MO and by numerous nieces and nephews.
