Donald Lee Thomas

Donald Lee Thomas, 77 of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at NorthCare Hospice House.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. 18020 E. 39^th St., Independence, MO 64055 with burial to follow in Mound Grove Cemetery.  Donald was born January 18, 1946 in Independence, MO to Charles Lee and Marian Jean (Colston) Thomas and has been a lifelong area resident.  He had done a variety of jobs in construction before he retired.  Hen enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with family and friends.  He is survived by; 3 sons, Dale Thomas and wife Jessica and Darrin Thomas all of Independence, MO and Dustin Thomas and wife Julie of San Diego, CA; a sister, Linda Miller of Independence, MO and 2 grandchildren, Brandee Thomas and Skyler Thomas.
