Reba Mae (Reaves) Driskell, 85, Independence, MO passed away Sept. 4, 2008. Graveside services will be at 11 am, Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008 at the 96 Cemetery in La Cygne, KS. Visitation will be 6 �" 8 pm, Monday at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, MO. The family requests contributions to Asercare Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Assoc.
Reba was born March 19, 1923 in Lamar, MO where she graduated from Lamar High School. During WW II, she worked at the North American Aviation plant in Fairfax building B-25 bombers. She married Clifford Driskell on Sept. 21, 1951. She worked for the Transportation Clearing House for thirty years and retired in 1988. She was a member of Teamsters Local #41.
Reba is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Clifford Driskell, of the home; daughter Barbara Young and husband David, Odessa, MO; grandson Robert Scarborough and wife Sandra; sister Joyce Ryan and husband Irvin, all of Independence, MO; brothers Harold Reaves and wife Betty, Lexington, MO; Merle Reaves and wife Neomia, Independence, MO; and great-grandchildren Samantha & Dalton Scarborough.
